Kris Kottmeier, Chairman

Kris Kottmeier has been involved in the structure & finance of public companies since 2004. He has been an IR & corporate consultant since 1996, working with a number of Exchange listed companies in various roles including manager, officer and exterior consultant. Over that time, Mr. Kottmeier developed his experience in corporate communications, corporate branding, finance, investor lead generation and database management. He was chief IR consultant to TSX-listed Minera Andes Inc. from early 1997 to 2009, and also head of IR at The Manex Resource Group from 1998 to 2003.

Mr. Kottmeier is currently president/CEO of TSX-V listed StoneShield Capital Corp. and was a founding director of TSX listed Rockgate Capital Corp.  He was a co-creator of Contact Financial Corp. and has since moved on to create & build Progressive IR Consultants Corp., both successful, Vancouver-based, professional investor relations firms. He is currently president/director of , a company that provides consultation to exploration/development-focused private & public companies.

Mr. Kottmeier attended the University of British Columbia from 1993 to 1996 with a focus on languages and business.

Andrew Mugridge, President

Andrew Mugridge holds a certificate of Marketing Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.  Prior to heading operations of Progressive, he acted as CEO of Venture Media Group Inc., an online marketing firm servicing publicly traded companies on the TSX and TSX Venture.  Currently, Andrew is an officer of StoneShield Capital Corporation, a TSX Venture listed Company. Andrew has acted as a key advisor to numerous publicly-listed companies since 2006.

Benjamin H. Curry, Vice President

Benjamin obtained a BA from the University of British Columbia with a major in geography and a minor in commerce. Since 2006, he has developed a large network of investment advisors, analysts, newsletter writers, retail investors and investment funds. He has assisted in equity financings totaling over $30Mil CDN and co-manages an equity financing portal through. In 2009 Benjamin was made partner and VP of Progressive IR. He has also acted as an officer for numerous Venture Exchange listed companies.

Dave Yeager, Head of Communications

Before joining the Progressive team in the fall of 2008 Dave completed a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria, majoring in English with a minor in Commerce. Having a geologist for a father, Dave has long been familiar with the junior exploration and small-cap producer mining industry.


Martin Kottmeier, Account Executive

Martin Kottmeier attended a business program at Capilano University prior to following a career in music, where he won the worlds largest battle of the bands, Emergenza. Shortly after, Martin obtained a record contract in Los Angeles to perform as a touring musician for European pop sensation Melissa Cavatti. Having a cousin as the Chairman of Progressive IR, Martin has long been exposed to the business and was naturally gravitated towards it. Martin is now applying his drive and creativity as an Account Executive.
